Palm Beach Publicist launches Shared Animal Biographies Web site enabling others to Honor Pets on the 8th Birth Anniversary of her Dog
Maxfield Papillon – a small dog with a big purpose site shares testimonies of how animal companions help teach important life lessons
PALM BEACH - (June 22, 2013) - Today, Jennifer Massing, founder of Massing PR, LLC, a publicity driven branding and integrated marketing firm, launches a new website in memorial of her beloved chief muse officer and constant companion, Maxfield Papillon, who passed away on March 22, 2013. The site, Maxfield Papillon™, a small dog with a big purpose™ mission is enable others an outlet to memorialize, honor and share their deceased pets by posting their animal companions’ biographies or stories of important life lessons these pets taught their owners and/or caretakers.
Jennifer Massing, Maxfield Papillon’s dog mom, shares her personal testimony in the form of her dog’s biography by expressing her own hardships through the point of view of her beloved animal companion. In doing so, she hopes this will encourage others to share not just for the purpose of personal healing from bereavement, but also help educate and enlighten communities at large where there is still so little respect for our feline and canine companions. Shelters are overcrowded, animal abuse is high and pets are treated as accessories instead of creatures with souls and purpose.
Ms. Massing states: “Regardless of ethnicity or religion, the same way humanity has evolved to fight for human rights, in honoring the stories of our beloved animal companions we also help humanity at large adopt, recognize and practice animal rights. After all, all living things, even insects, have the instinct to survive. How can we truly determine what living things have a higher purpose and what living things do not when we did not create them or this beautiful planet we all share.”
She invites everyone who has lost a beloved animal to honor their life and not dwell on their death by writing their biography of their life purpose, and sharing the important lessons learned from the time spent together.
Maxfield Papillon – a small dog with a big purpose web site – will continue to grow into a new business as Ms. Massing is working through the details for creating a nonprofit and plans to create a childrens book series dedicated to telling the tales of her (aka Scatterbrains), a little girl and Maxfield Papillon, a beloved Brooklyn Heights, New York and the Town of Palm Beach, Florida pooch.
While every day she still misses her comrade very much, she is comforted in knowing he is with her always in her heart and he remains her chief muse officer as she embarks on this new venture. Please take a moment to celebrate Maxfield Papillon’s purpose and birthday memorial by visiting www.maxfieldpapillon.com.
